So, does anyone have a good story of something their chickens did or do? Or a story that you would like to share? Let's tell our favorite chicken stories! Everyone can tell more than one story. Rules apply.

lolol ok, so just last week we got a chicken from the SPCA....we let it out and i tried to catch it and what does it do? It flies up on our roof!!!So i had to climb up there and chase it around on my roof and finnaly i got it down and clipped that darn lil things wings Razz

AND another one is that i hatched a safeway (grocery store) egg when i just did it to see what would happen and it hatched into a little Leghorn/RIR mix but it turned out being a VERY aggressive rooster so we gave him away and now he is livin the life on some farm Very Happy

now you could be positive he could have become very tame or maybe he did not like his hens. Neutral

A few years ago when we bought our game chicken farm we had to move 500 birds to our house from like 2 hours away......when we got home we were putting some hens in a round pen (it was dark out) and everytime we put one in the number of hens didn't seem to go up.....there was a hole in the back of the pen.......the birds were walking right out. We spent an extra 30 minutes of that night chasing wild chickens around in the dark.

When I was younger (Not too long ago LOL), I raised a couple of chickens with my ducks. The chickens thought they could swim like the ducks did......

You know...Chickens can't swim.

Got there just in time to save it....
