Chicken Water fountains Empty Chicken Water fountains

I got a 5 Gallon Water fountain from I beleve tsc about 2 years ago. It is one of the where the bottom sorta just screw/slides on. Word of advice. Do not get this type of water for indoor use. I was carrying it inside my chick pen one day and slightly hit the bottom of the fountain. It poped the lid off and i had 5 gallons of water sitting in the bottom of my brooder. I still use the fountain but it is for outdoor use only where there if i were to hit the bottom off again it wouldn't make much of a mess.

I would definately susgest to stay with the screw on bases. I have never had the metal fountains where the tops click on so can't susgest them. Hope this helps some people.
