Quarantineing Newly Acquired Birds

For all of you who buy chickens from other farms this is a good practice to follow. you should keep new chickens away from the others in your flock (quarantine) for at least 1 month. This allows for any disease, or any problems to show up. Most Farmers try there best to not give you birds with diseased birds but sometimes it will show up. Other Farmers don't really care so its best to keep them away for a Month to be on the safe side. This will help your already established flock stay healthy.

Tiramisu we really should have done this with your chicks but guess can't be to bad you only had 2 chickens guess its more for thoes with larger amounts.
