what kind did you get? breed sex etc

I ordered 25 Rirs, unsexed from rochester hatchery. I Keep buying from them! they are great. But I think next year I'm booking in like march!

ive heard of them are they a good hatchery? hope get mostly females :)

yes they are a good hatchery. Well hope fully I can sex them my self and Sell the Ones I don't want before my Brothers Blade goes to them first!

how do you sex them? wing or vent or some other way? I usually get mine from welp hatchery.

I'm going to Try the Wing way, If I Can't then I will try the Vent :S rather no Bother with the vent!!!!!

lol yea I have wing sexed in the past. idk how accurate I was though. at the leg bands I have never used them dont' have really any use for them other than show and they fell off a few days after the show anyway.

You should try toe sexing too, just to see if that has any accuracy.
"Check the toes. Pinch the 1st and 3rd toes together (just under the middle toe) and if the toes are the same length, girl, if different lengths(outer toe will probably be the longer of the two) its a boy. Its a know Pigeon sexing trick. It is NOT 100% accurate, but pretty accurate."

I have chicken ordered . They come in a month. Most our sold already though but i think i get to keep a few of them.

what Breed did you order?
